Ladies National Success

by Gaynor Hutton on April 5, 2011

Glasgow Polo Club’s Gaynor Hutton travelled to the famous ASCOT Polo Club to compete in the annual Ladies National Arena Championships at the end of February 2011.

Playing in the top level this year, Gaynor found herself competing against the top ladies in the country and was very proud to be awarded the Most Valuable Player award at this level.

Playing her own “Trudie” and the lovely “Purita”, generously loaned by James Man Clark, Gaynor managed to score several of her team’s goals to win the subsidiary final after a close loss on the first day as the team of Gaynor (1goal), Alex Jacob (2goal) and Nell Jacob (0goal) took a couple of chukkas to find their pace after having not played together since the same tournament this time last year.
